Black Sabbath Atlanta History
The Black Sabbath MC Inc. Atlanta Chapter charter was delivered to Atlanta in December 1999 by the Black Dragon, founder and accepted by then Outcast President Skull. The Black Sabbath M.C. was again given a blessing by the Out Cast M.C.'s newly created Georgia Council in 2009, on Sept 1. The ORIGINAL 7 memebers were:
- John E. Bunch II (Black Dragon)
- Lawrence Partee (Pappy)
- Levisky Wray (Coach)
- Leon Richardson (Eight Ball)
- Horace Hill (Boaz)
- XXX
- Jason Monds (Ol' Skool) &
- Derrick Wyatt (By-The-Book)
*By-The-Book and Ol' Skool actually became prospects at the same time.
The summer of 2009 saw a Black Sabbath prospective (Lee Anderson) go down in a motorcycle accident. He suffered through a year long rehabilitation and never completed his prospectship. In the fall of 2010 the B.S.A.G. expanded to include a brother named XXX, and Rodney Harper (Hot Rod). And a Black Sabbath prospect (Daryl Hicks) who was unable to complete his prospectship due to personal reasons and left the club.
The winter of 2010 saw, under the direction of By-The-Book, the Black Sabbath Atlanta chapter deliver 15 bicycles and contributed hundreds of dollars to the Atlanta fire station to give Christmas to needy Atlanta children. This effort was spearheaded by then Black Sabbath SGT-at-Arms, By-the-Book, former Marine, paramedic and Atlanta fire fighter. It was a crowining achievement in 2010.
In the beginning of the winter of 2011 the B.S.A.G expanded when prospect Willie Swan (Marine) crossed over and became a member of the Mighty Black Sabbath M.C. and Harold Clopton (Full House) completed his prospectship and became a member as well! The winter of 2011 saw the Atlanta chapter's first out of state ride to Cheaha Mountain in Alabama. This ride, unfortunately, would be the last ride of the Original 7 founding members of the Atlanta chapter as the first devistating club split happened shortly thereafter. The Atlanta club lost GB (later to join another M.C.), By-The-Book (rode solo), Boaz (later joined the Notorious Ones M.C.), Marine and LBM (later joined another M.C.).
In February 2011 Black Dragon became the National President of the Mighty Black Sabbath M.C. Nation and Eight Ball became the President of the Atlanta chapter. Pappy was assigned a second term as Vice President and Full House became SGT-at -Arms. Prospective William Brown (Freight Train) also suffered a terrible head-on motorcycle crash that left him fractured and facing a year of rehaibilitation. He recovered... slowly. The Atlanta chapter lost President 8 Ball who became Regional President of South East United States after the Rome, GA chapter and Macon, GA chapters were launched. Pappy became the Atlanta President and Marine returned to the chapter and became Vice President. The chapater added Swerve, Strictly Business, GMan (formerly Zulu Nation) Jerzee (formerly Zulu Nation and JRock (formerly Zulu Nation).
The Georgia Black Sabbath Nation grew almost overnight when GMan and Jerzee joined bringing the patch over of the Rome "Sick With It Ryders" and the patch over of the Macon Zulus M.C. It also brought two female social clubs to the Black Sabbath Atlanta chapter in sisterhood (the Viciouz Angelz S.C. and the Chosen Virtuous Queens S.C.)
2012 elections saw Freight Train in as the new President of the Atlanta chapter with Swerve serving as his Vice President/PRO. Full House was elected to another term as Sgt-At-Arms and Strictly Business became Business Manager/Treasurer. Ole Skool was elected to third term as Secretary and JRock filled Freight Train's former position as Road Captain. Eight Ball moved to National Prayer Warrior and Macon President Ride-or-Die became Regional President of the South East United States. Prospect 11 crossed over and became Ice Man, Prospect 12 crossed over and became MoeJoe and Prospects 13 and 14 began their prospectships. Two hangarounds petitioned for Prospect status in March of 2012 and are currently being evaluated. Several other hang arounds attempted to join but could not complete their internships.
2012 also saw the addition of the Black Sabbath Goddesses the all female support corps dedicated by duty, life and honor to serve the brothers of the Mighty Black Sabbath M.C. Nation Atlanta chapter.
The Atlanta chapter of the Mighty Black Sabbath M.C. Nation, depsite our bumps and bruises, continues to grow and propser and we are riding, contributing to the comunity and having fun! We have taken on new prospects and are experiencing new journeys. Such has been a brief history but by no means begins to detail our adventures, fun, challenges, brotherhood, club numbers or inner workings. If you want to know more, join us, you'll be glad you did!

The Black Dragon Founder {O/7}
President Black Sabbath MC AtlantaThe Black Dragon began riding motorcycles as a child in Lawton Oklahoma, in the early 1970's. The first bike he ever rode was a Honda Trail 50 that his neighbor owned. He always wanted a motorcycle from the first day he ever saw one zoom past. He always bummed rides on his neighbors ATC's and mini-bikes because his mom was too poor to afford to buy him one, still he dreamed of the days he'd own his own. But one day his dream was answered and John got his first motorcycle of his own which was a Yahmaha 125 Enduro. At that time, in Oklahoma, you could get a license to ride a 125 or less motorcycle when you were 14 with a few restrictions.
