In his spare time he rode race bikes and cruisers with his girlfriend clinging on the back for dear life!
Pappy started riding with and subsequently began prospecting with the Oklahoma City chapter in 2004, under President 'JB' Baker. In 2005 Pappy crossed over and became a member of the Black Sabbath MC Oklahoma City chapter. He receved his colors during the 2005 River City Round Up in Memphis Tennessee from 'Doc' Lewis, now the Regional President of the South Eastern region of the Black Sabbath MC.
In 2006 Pappy relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where he rode the solo Black Sabbath colors until hooking with the Black Dragon and forming the Black Sabbath Atlanta chapter in 2009. In September 2009 the Atlanta chapter recieved their charter from the National President 'Pep' Perry. They also received thier formal blessing from the Out Cast Motorcycle Club Atlanta. Pappy became the first Vice President of the Black Sabbath MC Atlanta chapter.
