It's a gentleman's agreement at this point. There is no dishonor for either of us if you back away from the deal. In making your decision, you should remember that as a Black Sabbath MC prospect , life will be a lot harder than it is in the Prospective Prospect phase. Until you are patched over, you may be sitting outside of club meetings as an outsider and not permitted to enter until you become a prospect.

While nothing is perfect, there is really only one rule if you decide to back away. There will be conditions on your doing it honorably. That could range from just asking to be let loose to a request that you meet with each patch holder individually and ask their blessing on your decision. Even in the case of an honorable decision, there can be some hard feelings. For instance, you can bet your bottom dollar that the patch holders in the Black Sabbath MC think it is the second best thing in life to butter and pussy, so a decision on your part to move on could result in some hurt feelings (especially if we thought you were going to make a good prospect). However, if you do it right, and move to another club, those feelings will usually subside with time.

If you do move on, you are OUT. That doesn't mean that none of the members are going to call you to go out for a beer or to hang out anymore. But it does mean that you won't be courted for membership and treated as great as you were. You must also realize that any club business you may have been privy to never leaves your mouth!

In order to move from Prospective Prospect to Prospect you will need to attend two Black Sabbath Meetings and make one run.  Remember, this is a period in which you get to know us and we get to know you.  Ask lots of questions and make sure to get them answered.  As you are not a prospect you can speak out in meetings (a privilege you won't get as a prospect).  Ask to examine the bylaws (you won't get to keep them but you can look them over) to make sure that you can meet the requirements that will be asked of you.  Listen closely at meetings you may be invited to so that you can ensure that the club's business model is one that agrees with you.  Remember you may be privy to club business so make sure you never discuss it with anyone so that you are never at odds with the club.

After you've made two meetings and one run with the Black Sabbath you will qualify to be invited to prospect.  Hopefully you've made a close enough friend and impressed the membership enough that someone will sponsor you.  That person will be responsible for your successful prospect period so make sure that you know enough individuals that you can get a strong sponsor.  If your sponsor is weak then you may have a very rough prospectship.

Best of luck!
